For a number of years I have been producing games & puzzles as a sideline to my main business as a carpenter and joiner. The idea for this resulted from my desire to find a use, for the large amount of hardwood off-cuts generated in the workshop.

Pinnacle Puzzles were formed in 1998 with the help and support of friends and family, when orders being received from word of mouth had reached a level requiring in excess of 50% of workshop time. I was soon joined by Tanya Rich as Financial Director, a good friend and business partner, whose drive and enthusiasm, coupled with her willingness to help in all aspects of the manufacturing process, have made her an important part in the continued success of the company.

All Hardwoods are a valuable natural resource, each tree taking between one hundred and a thousand years to reach a commercial size before felling.

We believe it is the duty of all of us to ensure that as much of this resource after felling, is used for a purpose that highlights its natural beauty rather than confining non-commercial lengths to the fire.

 

Our aims are to produce high quality handmade products that will give hours of pleasure at a price that allows everyone the chance to experience the natural beauty of wood.

All Hardwoods used in the manufacture of our Games & Puzzles are from recycled timber or non-commercial lengths purchased from joinery shops and sawmills around the South of England.
